These Aigle boots (I don't call them wellies now) are in a different league. They are great to walk long runs in, and fit really well around the ankle/lower leg. The vario part (adjustable strap around calf) is of the new quick release design and easy to use with cold fingers too.Great boots, would recommend them and Easy-Wellies for their customer service and prompt delivery.
